SIEMENS SIMATIC S7-300/400 SERVICE
Target audience
The course is addressed to persons who want/will install the SIMATIC S7-300/400 PLC’s or have to make the software reception and those who have to solve defects/faults in the installation of the SIMATIC S7-300/400 PLC’s. For example: programmers, commissioning engineers, configuring engineers, service personnel, maintenance personnel.
Required knowledge
S7-BASIC, S7-SYSTEM module or a similar level of knowledge and experience.
Goal
After completing this module, the participant is able to:
- perform the mechanical and electrical assembly of the SIMATIC S7-300 / 400 PLCs;
- set up a PROFIBUS DP network and to connect Master and Slave components;
- interpret the operation of the error lights;
- test the hardware configuration;
- access the input/output cards using the STEP7 software;
- perform structured reception of a complete program, recognize and solve hardware and software errors on SIMATIC S7-300 / 400 PLCs;
